Fort Salonga's Silver Missy
Misty
d/b - 06/23/1970
Ch. Fort Salonga's Kemo of Baltic x Ft. Salonga's Yukon LuLu
Misty as we called her, was our first Siberian whom we adopted as an adult. She had already produced an AKC Champion by a breeding with Ch. Snomass Copper Kaylee. That champion was
Ch. Kaylee's Calamity of Snomass. And so began our journey.....Misty was the foundation of what started Arlington Siberians.
 Chanookas of Arlington
CD.
Nookas
d/b - 04/15/1975

Cence's Silver Lobo x Ft. Salonga's Silver Missy
Chanookas acquired her CD obedience title with the Highest Score in each of her Trials. At the Garden State Siberian
Husky Club Specialty show, she was also awarded High Scoring-Best Bred By Exhibitor. And even though she would carry a
dumbbell while heeling off
lead, I was never able to get her to pick up that dumbbell on her own, thus she never gained her Open Title.

Ch. DeJay Nugget of Arlington
Nugget
d/b - 05/08/1977

Snoborn Silver x Ft. Salonga's Silver Missy
Nugget was a stunning black & white Siberian who I picked from the litter simply because he was the cutest. At that time I was still new to Siberians and was in awe of the black & white, blue eyed look. Nugget was my husbands dog and was so named from his initials D.J. Besides being a
successful show dog, he also ran in harness on my husband's recreational
sled team.

Ch. Arlington's Chaka
Khan 'O Noam
Buffy
d/b - 04/02/1984

Ch. Aazar's Nordique of Terried x Ch. Arlington's Amber Ice
Buffy was a sound moving very pretty bitch and a sweetheart to own and love. As she did not enjoy the show ring, she was not
campaigned once she completed her championship. Buffy was content at being a great mom and a fabulous brood bitch for Arlington Siberians.

Ch. Arlington's Amber Ice
Amber
d/b - 10/10/1978

Ch. Innisfree's Sierra Cinnar x Chanookas of Arlington CD
Amber was the first Siberian that I handled to a championship by myself. That was the beginning of a true love affair I found for Siberians and for Showing. Amber was a beautiful gray & white, blue eyed bitch with a very strong structure, and still a feminine dog. She was a fine producer and although I did not breed often, even then, much strength and quality came from Amber.

Ch. Arlington's Always On My Mind
Willie
d/b - 11/08/1982

Winner Dog - Chesapeake Siberian Husky Club - 1985

SHCA Specialty - 1992

Willie & two of his CH. get - 1992
Ch. Oberon's Fleet Street x Ch. Arlington's Amber Ice
Willie was a fine boy and one of his accomplishments was a major win at the
Chesapeake S.H.Club
Specialty. While having our picture taken later that day, the judge commented the this dog was soooo
typy it was almost scary! Willie indeed had a beautiful headpiece with
tight, fat,
little well furred ears. Willie proved to be a valuable stud dog as well as an accomplished show ring veteran. He is
also seen above posing for a picture after placing 3rd in the Veteran Class at a Siberian Husky Club of America - National
Specialty-1992

Ch. Arlington's Krakrjak Kris
Krissy
d/b 11/08/1982

Ch. Oberon's Fleet Street x Ch. Arlington's Amber Ice
Krissy was a quick start right out of the chute by gaining all her single points and one of her majors in a very short time. She then became known as the Reserve Queen
and we decided to breed her. With one more try in the ring Krissy snatched that last major for her championship. Later that night she was bred and so began the
success she gained by producing many Arlington Champions. Ch.Arlington's Firekrakr and Ch.Arlington's Ambezar Alamo (who himself produced
Ch.Innisfree's Panda Bandit), just to name a few. And so, Krissy lives on in her children and grandchildren.

Ch. Arlington Shenandoah
Andy
d/b - 09/14/1990

Ch. Arlington's Always on My Mind x Ch. Arlington's Chaka
Khan O'Noam
Andy was a show winner right
from the start and completed his Championship by going Winner Dog for a Major at
the Yankee Siberian Husky Club Silver Dollar Specialty in 1993. Andy was a gentle boy and a true love. He was taken from this earth much too soon by a murdering man with a gun. Before he left us he produced one litter of which the following dogs arose.....Ch. Arlington-Jax Running Bear,
Arlington-Jax
Hero of Bigfoot who Resides in Hungary, Arlington-Jax Mystic Glori and Arlington-Jax Ziggy Stardust.
Andy will be forever remembered through his get and their accomplishments.

IT
IS WITH GREAT SADNESS, THAT ARLINGTON HAS LOST THIS SPECIAL GAL.
PATTI WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL AND ALWAYS REMEMBERED AS A SWEET, GENTLE AND
LOVING FRIEND
Ch. Arlington
Patent Pending
1994 -
2002

Patti is a litter mate to
Arlington Reason To Believe, aka Dakota and is owned by Arlington Siberians.
Patti finished her Championship in style. Needing only 4 single points to
finish, she took the coveted Winners Bitch and on to Best Of Winners at the
Siberian Husky Club of America's National Specialty Show 1999 in Portland
Oregon, for a five point major win! I am so proud of her accomplishments and I
would like to thank Judge, Rosemary Fischer for recognizing Patti's special
qualities and to our friend Gale Tench, Kadian for showing Patti, in my absence,
to this prestigious win.

CH. ARLINGTON WHERE THERE'S SMOKE
Smoke

9/17/1987 ~ 1999 In Loving Memory
Gone from our sight, but never our Hearts
So Long Dear Friend...................Till We Meet Again
Smoke was bred and owned by me. Smoke
started his showing career winning points from the puppy classes...At 13
months of age and needing one final win point, Smoke was entered in the Bred
By Exhibitor Class, where he won and attained his Championship.
One month later, from the 12-15 mo. class,
Smoke gained the coveted title of 'Futurity Winner' in 1988 at the Siberian
Husky Club of America's 50th Anniversary Specialty. Already a Champion,
smoke was moved up to the Champion (Best of Breed) class and was again
honored, by winning an Award of Merit.
In Feb. of 1992 Smoke went to the
Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Garden, NYC, where he was
awarded Best of Opposite Sex from an entry of 27 Champions.
Smoke was recognized as one of the top dogs
in 1991 and as such was honored by being invited by Ralston Purina to
compete in their Invitational in June of 1992. There Smoke won the Best of
Breed Title also.
This was to be only the beginning of many
Breed wins for Smoke. It was
unfortunate that early into his award winning career, a permanent injury
caused Smoke's retirement much too soon. Although bred very limitedly, Smoke
and some lovely female Siberians together produced many Champions,
and in 1994 the Siberian Husky Quarterly Publication ranked Smoke #2 Stud
Dog. Smoke had
many accomplishments as well as many lovely children, some of who you will
see on these pages as well as the grandchildren that live on today.

Smoke joins the other forever loved
and remembered Siberians from Arlington who have passed over 'The Rainbow Bridge'. One day we will
all meet again, dear friends and loving companions. My furries....
